STAFF AND SUPPORT

Vicki VanPelt

Vicki VanpeltCo/Owner

Advanced O/W Diver

  Best Diving Advice: Respect, the underwater world you dive in. You are its visitor.  Be humble and gracious to all that it allows you to experience.

Other Ratings:

PDIC O/W Certified~1990; PDIC Adv. O/W ~1994;
SSI O/W ~1996

Specialties: Deep Diving, Navigation, Night/Limited Visibility, Nitrox, Nitrox Blender.

Diving Accomplishments:  Since I am claustrophobic, making any dive when vis is low, less than 15ft. Diving with Reef Squid. Once you know how to approach them, make them know you are non threatening, they will swim right along side of you. Stopping when you stop, just hovering, watching. They are as curious about you as you are them. My first dive with Sand Tiger Sharks in N.C. This is not a controlled or trained environment by means of performance feedings. They know and trust the divers through their own instincts. This, to me, is a privilege.

Adopt cats, dogs and other animals.

One of the largest sanctuary for abused and abandoned cats, dogs and other animals.
